Owl Notebook by Perkins and Morley

This beautiful Owl Notebook – featuring Jan Morley’s illustration against a blue background – is a Perkins and Morley classic.  This collaborative duo have been working together for decades, paving the way for other entrepreneurs and championining British design and manufacture.

The owl’s dark eyes indicate that he hunts by night.  A bit of an omnivore, the Tawny Owl will eat a range of small mammals and rodents as well as small birds, frogs, fish, insects and worms.  Their familiar call – Twit Twoo – is actually the combined conversation of a male and a female.  If you hear a truncated call, it may well be a youngster, establishing his own territory for the first time!
